Concept
In this poem, Emily Brontë explores the relationship between love and friendship. Love and friendship as two different types of plants, and the two plants react in different situations. Romance and friendship have different reactions as the season change, so much so that only one will prevail when things become as harsh and unforgiving as the cold of “winter.” I hope to express the relationship between love and friendship by showing two plants in different situations in my understanding. Giving the reactions of plants in different seasons more detail and emotion.
